The House of Prayer Sacramento (HOPS) School of Worship (SOW) is a part-time training school (10-12 hours per week) aimed at worship leaders, singers, and musicians. The SOW is for the experienced and the inexperienced alike, with a vision of equipping and training others in their skills and helping cultivate a deeper understanding and passion for worship. We believe we are in such a unique time in which the Lord is calling forth the singers and musicians to get rooted in the Word and in the knowledge of God. Isaiah 42 says that when the whole earth is found singing, the Lord will stir Himself up to bring forth righteousness and justice. It is time for the singers and musicians to rise up, take their place, and partner with the Lord and with the causes of His heart. This school will equip you to grow in your instruments, skills, team directing, worship leading, songwriting, and in what we believe the Lord is speaking in this hour.

End-time Worship Movement: Full time singers and musicians

Worship leading/team directing
Schedule:
Weekly Monday class: 6-9pm
Weekly trainings: Saturdays 9am-1pm
Requirements:
4 hours of Prayer Room time (outside of sets)
Attend one service per week (Young Adults or EGS)
Weekly practice time
Attend virtually Monday classes and In person
Saturday classes (At the House of Prayer Sacramento)

School of Worship Dates: TBA
Orientation: The orientation is the first day of the school. We will spend some time going over requirements and expectations as well as giving you lots of information and resources. The orientation will be at the House of Prayer Sacramento: 250 S Harding Blvd Roseville, CA 95678
Info Meetings: These meetings will discuss in more detail the requirements and the required hours, details about what a week looks like during the school, and be able to answer any questions you may have about the school. Both info meetings are held at the House of Prayer Sacramento. If you are not able to make it, you can email any questions you may have to worship@thehops.org
Cost
Tuition: $500 for the 12-week program
Deposit: $75 non-refundable deposit upon acceptance (included in the $500 total)
There are options of splitting the tuition into four payments and we offer help with support raising.

Pastoral Reference
Every application is required to have a pastoral reference which can be found and forwarded below. Please forward this to a pastor or close leader in your life and they can submit it from this website. Once we receive your application, and the pastoral reference, we will review both and contact you.
